Tommy Nilsson

From 1984 to 1989, Tommy Nilsson’s career flourished as he transitioned from a hard rock band to a successful solo artist. After his time with the band Easy Action, he focused on his solo career.

His breakthrough came in 1987 with the duet “Allt som jag känner” with Tone Norum, which became a significant hit. The following year, he received the “Best Swedish Male Artist” award and released his album “It!”.

In 1989, he won Sweden’s Melodifestivalen with the ballad “En dag,” which went on to place fourth in the Eurovision Song Contest. This period cemented his status as a prominent figure in Swedish music.
