Eurythmics
Following their breakthrough album “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” in 1983, the Eurythmics solidified their global stardom. The duo of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart released several successful albums during this period, including “Touch” (1984), “Be Yourself Tonight” (1985), “Revenge” (1986), “Savage” (1987), and “We Too Are One” (1989). 🎶 They earned a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group for “Missionary Man” in 1987. Characterized by Lennox’s soulful vocals and Stewart’s innovative production, the Eurythmics moved from their synth-pop roots to incorporate more rock and R&B influences.
